MyUndi
Introducing MyUndi for Malaysian elections, envisioning a digital voting process to replace traditional physical voting methods. This app aims to revolutionize the Malaysian political landscape by encouraging digital voting. Not only does the app facilitate voting, but it also serves as a comprehensive platform for accessing relevant election information. We aspire to elevate the democratic process and pave the way for a digitally inclusive voting system in the future.

Why the idea?
Project Overview
This project does not involve official steps toward designing a new interface. Instead, it serves as an attempt to demonstrate that an alternative future where digital voting is the norm is possible, one that prioritizes the best user experience.
The Problem
The problem I am addressing with the design idea for the voting app is the need to modernize the Malaysian electoral process. Currently, traditional physical voting methods can be cumbersome and may deter some voters from participating.
The Goal
The goal is to create a user-friendly and accessible voting app that revolutionizes the Malaysian electoral process. By providing a digital voting platform, the app aims to increase voter turnout and enhance political engagement.
What I do?
Responsibilities
Ideation
In the ideation phase, the primary responsibility is to gather ideas on essential features and functionalities to incorporate into the voting app, both before and during the voting process. This involves brainstorming sessions and research to identify key elements that will enhance the user experience.
Prototyping
During the prototyping phase, the focus is on translating the ideated features and functionalities into tangible prototypes of the voting app. This involves creating interactive mockups and wireframes to visualize the app's user interface and user experience. Prototyping allows for rapid iteration and testing of design concepts
Enhanced Security
Introducing the face recognition feature as a crucial security measure before voting in the app. Designed to verify the user’s identity as a legitimate registered Malaysian citizen, this feature enhances security by preventing unauthorized access. By utilizing advanced facial recognition technology, the app ensures that only eligible voters can log in and participate in the voting process.
Aesthetic Homepage
Welcome to the homepage, where users can access the voting button and browse other relevant election information. Meticulously designed with a Malaysian aesthetic, each button offers a seamless and culturally resonant user experience.
Convenient Voting
On the voting page, users can easily identify participating parties in their designated constituency at a glance. This page dynamically adjusts based on the user’s registered location, ensuring relevance and accuracy tailored to their demographic.
Receipt for reference
The reference page provides users with an unofficial receipt confirming their vote, offering tangible proof of their participation in the election process.
